Reflection

Yesterday, precisely on June 27, 2019 I and my friends took part in the Native speaker day program.

The event held by the UKI PPB is one of the programs that support us to improve foreign language skills, especially English because it is an international language In the UKI Native Speaker day PPB program, usually bring in foreign guests from abroad. The guests were brought in from various realm.

However, on Thursday, June 27, 2019, UKI PPB invited four speakers from different country. There is Mark from England, Maré from Australia, and from the USA there is Jesse and Ebonny
In the event, they told us about their hobbies, their experiences living in Indonesia, their first impressions when in Indonesia. They say that Indonesia is a country that has many cultures. According to them, Indonesian people are very friendly, respectful, and have very good ethics and manners.

Besides that they also said other things that they liked while in Indonesia, namely their food, they said that food in Indonesia made them always increase their appetite, especially the chilli sauce, one of them, namely Meré said in his home country he was not too like sambal there, but when in Indonesia "sambal here makes me want to eat, and eat again".

In addition, the four native speakers invited on Thursday were delegates from the Discipleship Training School (DTS).
Their visit to Indonesia actually carried a mission, namely to voice the message and spiritual values. In addition to the four native speakers, they also have friends sent to other countries.

They tell a lot of things that relate to spiritual values especially in the Christian faith. One of them, when we want to stay in God we must be able to implement the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. They assured us that in God's name all things could be overcome.
I can get many things from the "Native Speaker Day" program on Thursday, June 27, 2019.

I know better that "God will always be there for his people as long as we believe".
In addition, this event also greatly supported us as UKI students to improve their foreign language skills, especially English, to increase knowledge because the speakers were brought in from different realm, adding new knowledge to us and making learning and motivating us to be more forward again.

Finally, I was very happy because the first impression their had for  Indonesian people was very good, besides that they also saw the way of worship of people in Indonesia was very great.

I think that's all I can share on this blog, thank you for visiting. :))
